What it is Biogas
Biogas is a combustible gas mixture consisting of 50–70% methane (CH4), which is formed from organic compounds during the microbiological anaerobic process. Biogas also contains 30–40% of carbon dioxide (CO2) and small amounts of hydrogen sulfide (H2S), ammonia (NH3), hydrogen (H2) and carbon monoxide (CO).
